your bread looks amazing – I have always wanted to make crumpets – love them from the supermarket but yours look so much better

Thankyou! The Bread Bible is so thorough, it’s been a really good guide to start breadmaking.
The crumpets tasted very similar to the supermarket ones (my benchmark, since I’ve tried no others), but they were a little fluffier (and taller). Once I found some suitable rings they were actually very easy to make, I will definitely do so again!
Hope my tip helps. I should post my pikelet recipe sometime too.
