Look! I made bread!
I baked my first proper loaf of bread today. Levy Rye bread from The Bread Bible. This book goes into ALL the detail of bread making, rather scientific and some neat step by step illustrations. At first it is a little overwhelming, but once you’ve read all the details, it’s a lot simpler than it looks. And the bread was GOOD. A few improvements to be made, but not bad for a first try.
